Better Fried Rice (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 tbsp sesame oil
02 - 3 cups of leftover or day-old cooked white rice
03 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
04 - 1 cup of thawed frozen carrots and peas mix
05 - 2 cloves of garlic, minced
06 - 2 eggs, beaten lightly
07 - 1/4 cup of soy sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Start by warming the sesame oil in a big skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
02 - Toss in the garlic, thawed peas and carrots, and diced onion. Cook them while stirring until soft.
03 - Turn the heat down to medium-low, move the veggies to one side, and pour beaten eggs on the empty side. Scramble until firm.
04 - Add the white rice and soy sauce into the skillet. Combine everything well and stir-fry until the mixture is heated through.
05 - Take it off the stove once it's all mixed and warm. Serve immediately while hot.

# Notes:

01 - For extra taste, throw in some shrimp, chicken, or tofu.
02 - Swap out the veggies with anything fresh or leftover you like!
