# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lemon, juiced and zested
02 - 1 tablespoon parsley, freshly chopped
03 - 8 ounces mushrooms, thinly sliced
04 - 4 tablespoons melted butter
05 - 4 minced garlic cloves
06 - 1 pound asparagus, cut into 2-inch sections
07 - 1 teaspoon of salt
08 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Toss the mushrooms and asparagus into the slow cooker.
02 - Stir together the melted butter, garlic, pepper, and salt in a small bowl.
03 - Drizzle the butter blend over the vegetables in the slow cooker, giving them a gentle mix so everything's coated evenly.
04 - Cook on high for 1.5-2 hours or low for 3-4 hours until the veggies soften up.
05 - Right before serving, sprinkle the lemon zest and parsley on top, then drizzle with fresh lemon juice.

# Notes:

01 - Want something different? Add a small splash of white wine to the butter glaze. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top just before serving. You can also toss in baby carrots or diced bell peppers for added crunch and color.
