01 -
Get your oven hot at 450°F (230°C). Put parchment paper or a silicone mat on your baking tray.
02 -
Grab a big bowl and mix your flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic powder, salt and cayenne if you're using it.
03 -
Take a measuring cup or another bowl and stir together your buttermilk and melted butter. Pour this wet mix into your dry ingredients and stir with a spatula until just wet.
04 -
Carefully add the grated cheese and fold it in until it's spread throughout the dough.
05 -
Sprinkle some flour on your counter and knead the dough 3-4 times until it sticks together. Roll it out to about 1¼-inch thickness. Use a 2½-inch cutter to make 10-12 round biscuits.
06 -
Put your biscuits on the ready baking sheet and cook for 10-12 minutes until they turn golden.
07 -
While they're cooking, mix the melted butter, parsley and garlic powder in a small bowl.
08 -
Once biscuits come out, brush each hot one with your garlic butter mix.
09 -
Eat them right away while they're still warm.
