# Instructions:

01 - Mix the sugar, yeast, and warm milk in a bowl. Wait around 5 minutes, until it looks bubbly and foamy. That means the yeast is alive and good to go!
02 - Toss the flour, melted butter, egg, salt, and the remaining sugar into the yeast mixture. Knead everything until you have a ball of soft, stretchy dough. Cover it up and let it sit in a warm spot for roughly an hour until it’s doubled in size.
03 - Roll the dough out to about 1/2 inch thick on a floured surface. Use a donut cutter or two circle cutters of different sizes to make your donut shapes. Set them aside on parchment paper and let them rise again for 15-20 minutes.
