Effortless Buffalo Chicken Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Mix

01 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
02 - ¼ cup Frank's Red Hot sauce (add more if you like it spicier)
03 - 1¼ cups shredded cheddar cheese – keep ¼ cup aside
04 - 2 cups cottage cheese
05 - 1 lb cooked chicken breast, chopped into small chunks

→ To Serve

06 - Tortilla chips
07 - Sliced green onion for garnish
08 - Fresh veggie sticks (think bell peppers, carrots, and celery)

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F and leave it to warm up while you get everything ready. This temperature gives your dip a toasty, bubbly finish.
02 - Take a mixing bowl and toss in the cooked chicken, cottage cheese, 1 cup of cheddar (save the rest), hot sauce, and garlic powder. Stir it all up well. The mix will be a little chunky but fully combined.
03 - Move the combined mix into a small oven-safe baking dish or a simple casserole dish. A square 8x8 pan works nicely, but any small dish will be fine. Even out the surface with your spoon.
04 - Sprinkle the leftover ¼ cup of cheddar on the surface of the dip. Feel free to go heavier with the cheese if that’s more your style – no judgment here!
05 - Slide the dish into your hot oven and bake for roughly 15-20 minutes. It’s good to go when it’s bubbling and the cheese is fully melted. Your kitchen will smell incredible!
06 - Switch your oven to broil for the last couple of minutes if you want a crispier top. Be careful – it can go from browned to burned super fast, so watch it closely!
07 - Take the dish out and give it about 5 minutes to cool a bit. This short wait stops you from burning your tongue and gives the dip time to firm up a little. Add sliced green onions on top for a fresh kick, and serve with tortilla chips or those colorful veggie sticks.

# Notes:

01 - This buffalo chicken dip uses cottage cheese instead of cream cheese, keeping it creamy but cutting down on fats. Each portion delivers a whopping 37g of protein!
02 - Save time by using rotisserie chicken. Just remove the skin and bones, and chop up the meat – it even adds a little extra flavor!
03 - Not a fan of the chunky cottage cheese texture? Blend it smooth in a blender or food processor before mixing it with the rest.
