Creamy Chicken Bacon Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 envelope ranch seasoning (28g)
02 - 350g of cream cheese (about 1½ packs)
03 - 1½ cups fresh sour cream
04 - 1¾ cups shredded cooked chicken from rotisserie
05 - 1 cup of crispy bacon, chopped (12 slices roughly)
06 - ½ cup of chopped green onions (2 large stalks worth)
07 - 1¾ cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, split in two portions
08 - ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

→ For Garnish

09 - Extra crispy bacon pieces
10 - More fresh green onions, thinly sliced

# Instructions:

01 - Make sure you’ve got all the ingredients measured and the oven preheated to 190°C (375°F).
02 - In a microwave-safe dish about 23cm (9-inch) wide and broiler-friendly, combine the cream cheese and ranch seasoning. Heat on HIGH for 1 minute, stirring halfway so it softens up nicely.
03 - After microwaving, stir in the chicken, sour cream, bacon, green onions, black pepper, and 1 cup of Cheddar cheese. Spread it out evenly and finish by sprinkling the remaining ¾ cup of Cheddar on top.
04 - Pop it in the oven and bake until you see bubbles around the edges, about 25–30 minutes. Then switch to broil mode and heat until the cheese has a golden touch, which takes another 3–5 minutes.
05 - Take it out of the oven, sprinkle more bacon and green onions on top, and serve while it’s warm with veggies, crackers, or crusty bread.

# Notes:

01 - You can skip the oven and do everything in the microwave. Mix all ingredients except for the top Cheddar and microwave the dip on HIGH, stirring now and then, for 12–14 minutes until hot and melty. Then sprinkle Cheddar, bacon, and green onions on top as the final step.
