Garlic Parmesan Magic (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sauce Base

01 - 4 cloves of garlic, minced finely
02 - 4 tablespoons melted butter (unsalted)
03 - 4 tablespoons standard flour
04 - 2 teaspoons dry Italian herbs

→ Liquid Elements

05 - 3/4 cup rich cream
06 - 2 cups of veggie broth

→ Finishing Components

07 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
08 - A pinch of kosher salt
09 - 230g (8 oz) Parmesan cheese, grated fresh
10 - Black pepper cracked fresh, as needed

# Instructions:

01 - In a big pan, warm up the butter over medium-low heat until it's melted.
02 - Throw in the garlic, dried herbs, a touch of salt, and cracked pepper. Let it cook for about a minute, just until it smells nice.
03 - Sprinkle the flour over everything and whisk it in well. Keep cooking for a minute to get rid of the raw taste.
04 - Pour in the vegetable broth bit by bit while whisking so lumps don’t show up.
05 - On low heat, let it gently simmer for a couple of minutes, stirring, until the sauce clings lightly to your spoon.
06 - Mix in the heavy cream, parsley, and the Parmesan cheese, whisking until smooth and creamy.
07 - Cook on low, giving it an occasional stir, until you’re happy with the thick texture. It should coat the spoon easily.
08 - Taste it and tweak it with a little salt and some black pepper, if needed, just before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Use it with pasta, as a bread dip, or even poured over chicken. It’s super flexible!
02 - For a thinner version, just stir in extra broth until you like the texture.
