Crispy Banana Chips (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fruit

01 - Peel two bananas, making sure they’re ripe but still firm, and cut them into thin, ⅛-inch slices.

→ Coating

02 - 1 tablespoon melted butter or coconut oil
03 - ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
04 - 1 tablespoon sugar (granulated or coconut)

# Instructions:

01 - Cut peeled bananas into thin rounds, around ⅛ inch thick, trying to keep the slices as uniform as you can.
02 - Combine cinnamon with the sugar in a small bowl. Coat banana slices with the melted butter or coconut oil, then toss them in the cinnamon-sugar blend until they’re evenly covered.
03 - Set your air fryer’s temperature to 350°F (175°C) and let it warm up for a few minutes, about 3-5.
04 - Place coated banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving a bit of space between each one. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping them over halfway through, until they turn crispy and golden.
05 - Move the fried banana slices to a cooling rack. Let them cool completely so they crisp up more. Serve them right away or stash them in a sealed container.

# Notes:

01 - Pick bananas that are yellow and firm. This makes slicing and crisping much easier.
02 - Don’t panic if the chips seem soft straight out of the air fryer. They’ll harden as they cool.
