Crispy Carrot Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 large egg
02 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper
03 - ½ teaspoon dried minced onion
04 - ⅓ cup Mexican blend cheese, shredded finely
05 - Olive oil for brushing surfaces
06 - ¼ cup crispy panko crumbs
07 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
08 - ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt
09 - 1 cup carrots, grated fine and squeezed to remove water

# Instructions:

01 - Coat the air fryer rack lightly with olive oil. Preheat it following your air fryer's instructions.
02 - In a medium bowl, toss in the grated carrots (with water removed). Stir in the cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, seasoning salt, black pepper, onion flakes, and garlic powder. Mix it gently until it's just combined—it should feel dry.
03 - Roll 1.5 tablespoons of the mix into balls. Place them evenly on the greased air fryer rack, leaving some space between them.
04 - Air fry the carrot tots at 6–8 minutes. You'll know they're ready once the outside has browned and crisped up a bit. They're great served warm with dipping sauce if that's your style.

01 - Even though the mixture might feel a little dry, it helps make the tots' texture perfect once cooked.
