Grind parmesan, breadcrumbs, and red chilies in a food processor until just combined. Spread evenly on a dish.

Roll each asparagus spear in the egg mixture first, then coat it evenly with the breadcrumb-parmesan mix. Set aside.

Turn on the air fryer and let it preheat to 400°F, taking about 7 minutes.

Layer asparagus pieces in the fryer basket without crowding them. Give a light spray of oil to help crisp up (optional). Cook for 6-8 minutes until they’re golden brown.
