Warm Feta with Honey (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 1/2 cup chopped dates, tightly packed
02 - 1 block feta cheese (150-200g/6-8oz)
03 - 1/4 tsp chili flakes
04 - 3 tbsp runny honey
05 - 1 tbsp olive oil
06 - Fresh thyme leaves for decoration
07 - 1/4 cup pistachios, salted and chopped

08 - Pita chips, baguette slices, crackers, or crostini

# Instructions:

01 - Get the oven going at 190°C (375°F). Use parchment paper to line a small baking dish.
02 - Put the feta block right in the middle of the dish you prepared. Pour olive oil all over the cheese.
03 - Spread the pistachios and chopped dates around and on top of the cheese. Sprinkle with chili flakes, then drizzle everything with honey.
04 - Let it bake for 15 to 18 minutes until the feta turns soft.
05 - Top with thyme leaves to finish. Enjoy it warm along with pita chips, baguette slices, crackers, or crostini. You can either serve it straight from the dish or transfer it to a nice plate for the table.

# Notes:

01 - To feed a bigger group, just double the amount of feta and stick with the same topping ratio.
