Parmesan Crusted Halibut Dinner (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Items

01 - 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
02 - 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
03 - 1 lemon
04 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest
05 - 1 teaspoon olive oil
06 - 2 halibut fillets, skinless
07 - 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
08 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
09 - Salt & pepper, as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 425°F (220°C), and lightly coat a baking pan using cooking spray.
02 - Lay the halibut fillets on a plate, drizzle olive oil on them, and squeeze half the lemon over the top. Sprinkle with some salt and pepper to your taste.
03 - Combine the panko, parmesan, dried herbs, zest of the lemon, and garlic powder in a small mixing bowl.
04 - Press the crumb mixture down gently onto the top side of the fillets so it sticks well.
05 - Pop the fish into the oven and bake for about 10–15 minutes, or until it easily flakes with a fork and looks opaque. Pair with the remaining lemon for an extra kick of flavor.

# Notes:

01 - Keep in mind that thicker pieces of fish may take a bit longer—aim for about 10 minutes per inch of thickness.
02 - You can refrigerate leftovers in a sealed container for up to 3 days, though it's tastiest when served right away.
03 - Cod or sea bass would also taste great prepared this same way.
