Honey Garlic Chicken Tacos (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken Prep

01 - 1 pound of chicken (thighs or breasts, no bones or skin)
02 - 2 tablespoons of oil, preferably olive
03 - Pepper and salt—use as much as you’d like
04 - A teaspoon of smoked or regular paprika
05 - A teaspoon of powdered garlic
06 - A teaspoon of onion salt or powder
07 - Half a teaspoon of chili spice (only if you want)

→ Making Sauce

08 - 4 big spoons of butter that hasn’t been salted
09 - 4 crushed garlic cloves
10 - A couple of tablespoons of honey

→ Putting It Together

11 - Shells for tacos
12 - Thinly sliced lettuce
13 - Shredded cheese of your choice
14 - Any kind of salsa you like

# Instructions:

01 - Throw the chicken into a bowl. Add olive oil, some salt and pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili if you want extra heat. Mix everything so the chicken is coated and ready.
02 - Take a pan and warm it over medium flame. Pop the chicken in and let it sizzle for 5-7 minutes per side until it’s fully cooked and gets a nice golden crust.
03 - In another small pan on low heat, melt your butter. Toss in the smashed garlic cloves and let them cook until you smell their aroma—about a minute. Add the honey, mix it all together, and wait for it to turn smooth and glossy.
04 - Once the butter honey sauce is ready, pour it all over the chicken while it’s still in the pan. Stir it up to cover every piece with that tasty glaze.
05 - Chop up the glazed chicken. Put the chicken slices in taco shells and pile on lettuce, cheese, salsa, or anything else you’re in the mood for.

# Notes:

01 - Want it spicier? Add more chili powder or stir some hot sauce into the butter sauce.
02 - Grilling the chicken instead of cooking it in a pan gives it some extra smokiness.
