La Scala Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Salad

01 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
02 - 1/4 lb of salami, cut into thin strips
03 - 1 head of iceberg lettuce, cleaned and chopped small
04 - 1 can (15 1/2 oz) of garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained fully

→ Dressing

05 - 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
06 - 1/3 cup olive oil, extra-virgin kind
07 - 1/2 tsp ground black pepper and salt
08 - 2 tsp mustard (Dijon)
09 - 1/4 cup Pecorino Romano or Parmesan cheese, grated; keep extra for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Mix olive oil, Dijon mustard, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Whisk until smooth and combined.
02 - Put the chopped lettuce, shredded mozzarella, drained beans, and sliced salami into the bowl with your prepared dressing.
03 - Blend everything together so it’s evenly coated with the dressing. Sprinkle on extra Pecorino Romano cheese if you like, and adjust salt and pepper to suit your taste.
