Garlic Butter Shrimp Delight (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon (5ml) sesame oil
02 - 1/4 teaspoon (1.25g) white pepper
03 - 1 large egg, beaten lightly
04 - 1 cup (240ml) cooked rice
05 - 4-5 big shrimp, deveined and peeled
06 - 1 tablespoon (15g) butter
07 - 2 minced garlic cloves
08 - 1 teaspoon (5ml) soy sauce (light)
09 - Salt and pepper, to suit your taste
10 - 1 teaspoon (5ml) cooking oil
11 - 1/2 teaspoon (2.5g) chicken stock powder
12 - 1 spring onion, sliced up

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up a pan on medium heat, then toss in the butter and oil. Let the butter melt fully before adding your shrimp. Sprinkle salt and pepper over them, then cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are fully cooked. Take them out and set them aside.
02 - Using the same pan, toss in the minced garlic. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes until you can really smell it.
03 - Add the beaten egg to the pan. Let it sit so the bottom sets up, then slowly break it up into chunks as it cooks through completely. This keeps the fried rice from getting soggy later.
04 - Drop the cooked rice in with the other ingredients, then drizzle over the chicken stock powder and soy sauce. Combine everything until all the rice is well-coated.
05 - Throw the cooked shrimp, sesame oil, and chopped spring onion back into the pan. Toss everything until it's mixed evenly, then dish it out and enjoy!
