Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and get a baking tray ready by lining it with parchment paper.

Pour olive oil over the bundles so they're coated, then sprinkle a pinch of black pepper and salt on top.

Take 3-4 spears of asparagus and wrap a strip of bacon snugly around the middle. Repeat until you've used up everything.

Lay each bacon-wrapped asparagus bundle onto your prepared tray, spacing them out so they don't touch.

Place the tray in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Keep an eye out for the bacon turning crispy and the asparagus getting tender. Thicker bacon might take longer.

Scatter a little garlic powder and freshly grated Parmesan on the bundles just before serving for an extra kick.
