Pop the wholegrain bread into a toaster or warm it in a small pan. Let it sit until it's firm and cool enough to handle.

Grab a small bowl and throw in the avocado with black pepper and powdered garlic. Smash it all up with a fork until you get the texture you want.

Spray a small nonstick pan or add a tiny bit of olive oil. Drop the egg in once it's hot and let it cook without touching until the whites set and get crispy around the edges, roughly 3 minutes. Take it off the heat.

Smear the avocado mix on your cooled bread, then put the egg on top. Add hot sauce and green onions if you're feeling fancy.
